It was started by Ray Hostetler of Ray's RC Helicopter Manual fame. Ray has moved on to other heli things, but MHT remains dedicated to the TECHNICAL side of building and flying Remotely Controled Model Helicopters. We do not do fluffy reviews or pander to the latest flying fads. We deal with: building - learning maneuvers - maintenence - tools - scale projects - modifications, and much more. Our writers have all been in the hobby/sport for an amazingly huge amount of time. Collectively they have over 46 years of expertise in the hobby! Some are representatives for major model helicopter manufactuers ... some are ranked among the top level of today's flyers ... some have been flying and/or writting about RC Helis for a zillion years! Well maybe not quite that long.. Together, they have a desire to share their experiences and information. MHT is published six times a year as a hard copy magazine.
